NOTICE AND CALL OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MANTECA CITY COUNCIL

A Special Meeting for the City Council of the City of Manteca has been called at the date, time, and place identified above, for the purpose identified on this Agenda. This Special Meeting is called in accordance with California Government Code Section 54956.

Pursuant to Government Code 54953(b), this meeting will include a teleconference location at Klamath Campground 6504 Copco Road, Hornbrook, CA 96044 for Councilmember Breitenbucher. He will be attending the Special Meeting via teleconference. The public shall have the opportunity to address the City Council at this teleconference location pursuant to Government Code Section 54953. All votes during the teleconferencing session will be conducted by roll call vote. The teleconference location is accessible to the public and the agenda will be posted at the teleconference location 24 hours before the meeting.

Members of the public that wish to submit public comments may do so by several different methods. Pursuant to Government Code section 84308, members of the City Council are disqualified and not able to participate in any agenda item involving contracts (other than competitively bid, labor, or personal employment contracts), franchises, discretionary land use permits and other entitlements if the Councilmember received more than $500 in campaign contributions from the applicant or contractor, an agent of the applicant or contractor, or any financially interested participant who actively supports or opposes the City's decision on the agenda item within the preceding twelve (12) months. Members of the City Council who have received, and applicants, contractors or their agents who have made, campaign contributions totaling more than $500 to a member of the City Council within the preceding twelve (12) months are required to disclose that fact for the official record of the subject proceeding. Disclosures must include the amount of the campaign contribution and identify the recipient Councilmember and may be made either in writing to the City Clerk prior to the subject hearing or by verbal disclosure at the time of the hearing.
