NOTICE AND CALL OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MANTECA CITY COUNCIL
A Special Meeting for the City Council of the City of Manteca has been called at the date, time, and place identified above, for the purpose identified on this Agenda. This Special Meeting is called in accordance with California Government Code Section 54956.
Pursuant to Governor Newsom's Executive Order N-25-20, members of the Manteca City Council will participate in this meeting via teleconference from separate locations. The City Council Chambers will be closed to the public in an effort to prioritize social distancing with the goal of decreasing the opportunities for transmission of COVID-19. The meeting will be available for public viewing on the City's website at https://www.ci.manteca.ca.us/CityClerk/Pages/City-Council-Video.aspx and via public television, local Comcast channel 97. Members of the public that wish to submit public comments may do so three hours in advance of the meeting, no later than 2:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Public comment will be limited to 250 words and every effort will be made by staff to read these comments into the record. Comments that exceed 250 words will not be read into the record and will be made a part of the official record on file with the City Clerk. Comments received after the 2:00 p.m. deadline will not be read into the record and will be made a part of the official record on file with the City Clerk if received prior to the end of the meeting.
